Airports
Ports of Entry
The official Ports of Entry for delegates flying into South Africa to attend the WCAR have been identified as Johannesburg International, Durban International and Cape Town International Airports.
Luggage
Delegates transiting either through Johannesburg International Airport or Cape Town International Airport are reminded that although their luggage may be checked through to Durban, they will have to collect their luggage at the Point of Entry. After passing through and clearing Customs, delegates will be required to check in at the Domestic Check-In Counter (including luggage). There are no Custom facilities on domestic flights in South Africa.
Parking (Official/Private/Chartered Aircraft – Heads of State/Government and Government Delegations Only)
The parking arrangements for official, private and chartered aircraft for Heads of State/Government and Government Delegations will be discussed bilaterally with the Department of Foreign Affairs.
